Vanessa Farmer is in England bought a box of chocolates.  But when she opened it up to eat one, she found out her ex-boyfriend David, who she was still living with, had already been there.

He'd eaten everything except for the two worst types of chocolates in the box:  A praline in milk chocolate, and a vanilla truffle with little almond pieces.

When Vanessa found out what an offensive thing he'd done, she threw the box at him.

But he's a cop . . . so he had her arrested for assault, and she was in a holding cell for almost 24 hours.  She told reporters it shouldn't have hurt him, because he's fat.

The charges were eventually dropped, but she was stuck with a $7,700 legal bill.
